It is during the season of Advent that we prepare and plan for Christmas. It is a very busy time for many of us and in the hustle and bustle of the festive preparations we can quite easily forget what the season is all about.

The story goes that a little girl was with her family in a party being showed around one of the cathedrals. As the guide was explaining an historic tomb nearby, the little girl was staring at a great stained glass window through which the summer sun was streaming, bathing the cathedral floor in colour………..
